After San Francisco’s disastrous 1906 earthquake, Frank Lawson opened up a small roofing company that has grown into Lawson Roofing, one of the leading roofing and waterproofing companies in the Bay Area and all of Northern California.
Since 1907, we have operated as a family-owned business. After the passing of founder Frank Lawson, his son, Frank E. Lawson Sr., continued the operations. Today the third generation, Frank E. Lawson Jr., Richard Lawson, and the fourth generation, Joseph Lawson, are carrying on the family tradition.
We have been standing behind this motto for over one hundred years, and through diligence, professionalism, and experience, those commitments are met on a daily basis. Our promise to our employees is to provide them with skills, a safe work environment, and benefits from being among the best at their trade. Our promise to our customers is to provide quality, durable work is done in an affordable, respectful, timely and safe manner.
We pride ourselves in being a part of the community we serve and the industry in which we work. Our employees regularly demonstrate their commitment to our community through their participation in the annual donation of a roof for Rebuilding Together, during which we help families in need.
We are members in good standing of several local and national roofing and construction associations. This keeps us always on the leading edge of innovation and allows us to better serve our community and our customers. In addition, we support other local businesses whenever possible to help keep our community vibrant and economically healthy.
